I have about 60% of the functions implemented so far.  This driver will support any of Samsung's panels that support the Multi Display Control (think SyncMaster etc).

The driver provides feedback for current input, volume, power, colour settings etc.  I've also implemented events which will trigger if someone turns the panel on with the IR remote or front panel.  Great for triggering settop boxes etc.

More to come...

Darren

I've only tried the serial port so far.  I'll add IP support, would you be willing to test it for me?

Thanks,
Matt.

Just had a quick look at the user manual... looks like this is a residential panel and doesn't support 232 control.  Don't think it'll work for you sorry.  The manual says the 232 port is for service only.

Thought that might be the case. I guess I'll stick with IR control.

Thinking of buying a new LED tv any recommendations for good control?

Cheers
