Generic System Variable Input

I'd like to see a 2-way driver that allows RS-232 or IP input strings such as:
Int1=12
Text23="This is a text message from your computer."
Float9=97.5
Flag2=1
Flag4=0

System variables can be limited to how ever many you can hold in memory or 32 or 64 of each type: integer; floating point (simple format); or text.

This would compliment the System Macro Trigger driver quite nicely for feedback from computer or automation systems.
