This driver allows you to dynamically add a custom menu to the Cisco 7940/7960 series of VOIP phones which can then trigger macros on the XP8.

I use this to allow me to open the driveway gate when people buzz me on the intercom (which is also VOIP).  Got to love the Cisco gear Smiley

Absolutely... i'm still working on it at the moment.  Send me a PM with your email address and i'll forward you a copy once it's ready for testing.

Cheers,
Matt.

Finally spent some time on this.  It's working very well and i'm really happy with how it works (did a bit of a rewrite).

You can have the following types of menu items:
  • static - just a line of text that's always the same
  • boolean (internal) - this one has 2 strings that toggle each time you select the item.  Tracked internally by the driver.
  • boolean (external) - the same as internal, however you can use an XP flag or another driver's boolean to change the text!
  • url - static text linking to an external website

Good question... I suspect not, as it's the Cisco firmware that adds the functionality.  I run the skinny protocol here so I'm not sure.
