1  RTI Drivers / Released Drivers / Re: XBMC on: April 11, 2016, 05:01:52 PM
Hi Andrew,

Short answer is the driver doesn't currently support this.  I've just added a new function that should fix this for you.  I've emailed a copy, if you could confirm it works before I make it publicly available.

Cheers,
Matt.

Is this option in the current release of the driver?  I can't figure out how to do it.

No, its in a beta that hasn't been made public yet.
Send me a PM with your email address and i'll share it with you.

Dear Mat,

will this Driver work with new Applt TV 4 (tvOS)?

Thanks.
BR Peter

I'm assuming this is you being funny, right?
Given it's not available to the public (myself included) there is no way to know.
Once I can buy one, I will.  I will share the results then.

3  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Issues with Oppo RS-232 Driver on: September 07, 2015, 09:41:41 AM
I am having a lot of difficulty controlling the Oppo BDP-103D Blu-Ray player.  At random times the driver ceases communication with player.  Sometimes it will not turn the player on from a standby condition.  Sometimes it just stops working all together while the player is on.  The player is running BDP10X 77 0827 Firmware, the most current. The loader version is 7B1300 8550 1300, the Sub Version is MCU 13D-01-0618, and the Chip Version is BD10X 131030.  The player is connected to an XP-3 controller slaved to an XP-8s processor.  Both units are running the most current firmware. I have tried loading the driver on both the XP-8s and XP-3 with no improvement. The driver version is 3.2.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to make the system more stable?

I've been running an Oppo 103 via 232 for more than a year and it's never missed a beat.  Sounds like it could be a licensing problem.
Please contact me via email (address is on our website) so I can get some debug logs from you.

Cheers,
Matt.

Hi, I purchased an Apple TV IP driver, and installed it on an RTI XP processor.
I have 3 ATVs to control.
With the first ATV everything is ok, included coverart and control but with the second I can't control anything.
in the ATV settings -> remotes I can see the little chain in "My Device" and the configuration is the same for all the ATVs, so I can't understand why it doesn't respond.

Thank you

Giacomo

Hi Giacomo,

Please check that if you use using the "selected unit" method of control, that when you change to the control page for the 2nd/3rd ATV that you are calling the System -> Set Current() function.  If you don't do this, then all commands will be going to the first ATV.

Our first C4 driver is going to be a port of our current RTI ATV driver.

The basics are all done, so if you're interested in helping test it, drop me an email.

8  RTI Drivers / Released Drivers / Re: XBMC Gotham Profile Support on: October 29, 2014, 01:44:05 PM
Any chance of getting it added or is there a way to add your own commands?  It's somewhat crucial to my being able to use the driver because the web services stop when XBMC is at the Profile Login screen.  This makes the remote unusable until the profile is succesfully logged in.  I could bypass the login screen completely if I could jump directly to another profile.

Its on my list of things to do Smiley

I noticed that Gotham adds some JSON commands for getting the current profile and loading a new profile.  Is this currently supported in the XBMC RTI Driver?

Not yet, no.
10  RTI Drivers / Released Drivers / Re: XBMC Frodo 12.1 -- D NAV not skipping in video playback -- no password field on: October 20, 2014, 10:19:50 AM
Hi,

These are separate commands when controlling via IP.  To do what you're suggesting would require some black magic to make the command change when video playback is detected.  Certainly not impossible, but I'm concerned if I make this change lots of other users will complain as it no longer functions the same as the native XBMC iOS app.

The user/password stuff is something i'm looking into.  I've had a few requests to support different user profiles which requires this as well.

Cheers,
Matt.

Hi,

i am new to this forum, but not to RTI:-)

i had a few problems with the popcorndriver too, maybe some of you, or matt, can help:

- i have a A-400, but driver works so far...

- the connected varable is always blank, no feedback
- the return-command seems to have no function
- i can not find the zoom-command at all, am i blind?

for all of you many thanks in advance!

BR
Peter

The driver hasn't been tested against the 400, so I can't comment.
If you send me some debug logs I will be able to tell if it's compatible.
12  RTI Drivers / Released Drivers / Re: XBMC on: September 11, 2014, 08:25:13 PM
Hi Matt

Does this work with XBMC Gotham release as I had a quick try and no luck and have used the driver before so just wanted to confirm as it does say Frodo ?

The Frodo version works with both Frodo and Gotham.

The Eden version will only work with Eden.

Hi I want to create a button to open specific playlist. I usually do this with a flirc or some other usb ir and modify keymaps but im a bit stuck with how to do this with this driver.

The command i use in the keymap is;

ActivateWindow(10025,"special://profile/playlists/video/in progress tv.xsp")

I tried using this in send string, but no joy. Do I have to send a full JSON string or something?

Alternatively can I map it to a key and use "send character" to open? Does the send character act as a keyboard press?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
