I am having a lot of difficulty controlling the Oppo BDP-103D Blu-Ray player.  At random times the driver ceases communication with player.  Sometimes it will not turn the player on from a standby condition.  Sometimes it just stops working all together while the player is on.  The player is running BDP10X 77 0827 Firmware, the most current. The loader version is 7B1300 8550 1300, the Sub Version is MCU 13D-01-0618, and the Chip Version is BD10X 131030.  The player is connected to an XP-3 controller slaved to an XP-8s processor.  Both units are running the most current firmware. I have tried loading the driver on both the XP-8s and XP-3 with no improvement. The driver version is 3.2.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to make the system more stable?

I've been running an Oppo 103 via 232 for more than a year and it's never missed a beat.  Sounds like it could be a licensing problem.
Please contact me via email (address is on our website) so I can get some debug logs from you.

Cheers,
Matt.
