Our Sonos driver will be making an appearance on the Avation stand at Cedia Australia next week in Sydney!
I had heard that Matt, I'm looking forward to seeing it!

Matt,
they've just charged my Visa card (I hope that's a good sign), so the unit should be on it's way, hopefully within a week I'll have it.

Found a preliminary review of the 93
http://www.audioholics.com/reviews/transports/high-definition-dvd-players-hd-dvd-blu-ray/oppo-bdp-93

Looks like it has a few new features
The downside is that they're removing the dedicated 2 channel out, i:e a system that I've done for a client uses HDMI out for the theatre and Component/L/R out to a 10 by 8 Matrix Switch.
Will make this impossible in the future unless there's an option in the set up to do a mix out of the L/R of the multi channel out.

Hi Matt,
after seeing that you're developing a driver for the Popcorn Hour unit, I had a look at it online. Looks very interesting, to the point that I've ordered one, they don't expect to be shipping until around the 28th of this month (direct from China), so, hopefully early next month I'll be able to see if it works as well as hoped.

Yep and then on to the events.  But it's looking pretty good.  Will need beta testers soon...
I'll put my hand up as well!
9  Future Development / Requests / Apple TV on: July 27, 2010, 06:46:05 AM
Hi Matt, any chance of doing something with Apple TV? I have some documentation and am happy to donate a unit if that helps.

10  RTI Drivers / Released Drivers / Re: Global Cache iTach/GC-100 on: July 27, 2010, 06:39:00 AM
Matt, I've now got a iTach  IP2IR and a IP2SL, the IP2SL was easy (why didn't I try that first), and after a call to the suppliers who told me about the GC to CCF converter, the IP2IR is now working fine.
I haven't done anything out of the ordinary programming wise, am just looking to use the IP2IR in a house where there is no cabling other than network between the four levels (another company did the pre-wire and original set up). Am modulating the pay TV however and have been struggling to get reliable IR control via RF so I think this will be a great solution.

Thanks for your help.

Matt, is this the driver that RTI has released, or is it a different version?

Got serial and relay control done today for both iTach and GC-100.  Need testers!
I'm happy to help out.

I'm looking forward to this one Matt, I've been using Hal amps for some years now and have 2 CA6.2 on order.

Iain

Make that 3 now.
