My Device is very happy to announce the immediate availability of an IP driver for the Apple TV!

This driver is an IR replacement driver for controlling the Apple TV.
Free up an IR port on your XP processor and avoid having to spend time running cable for the emitter!
Adds all the same commands as the IR remote:

• Cursor control (up/down/left/right)
• Menu
• Select
• Play/Pause

Plus a few more:

• Jump to Home Screen
• Context Menu
• Play
• Pause
• Next
• Previous

Feedback variables are provided that indicate the name of the paired Apple TV and its connection state.

It's a bug in Eden. I discussed it with the developers a while back, but given Frodo is the replacement it's been addressed there. I don't think there's much you can do.

I am the RTI programmer.  Customer supplied the XMBC driver license.  Can provide name is necessary.  I have installed driver, installed the license key.  I have control of the XMBC interface on the PC.  I have an issue where when I am trying to select music files in the browse page (I am using the pages from the example program, just slightly rearranged as far as button placement goes - no command changes). I press show Music, then select files, then Music again, and the item list on the left jumps to MOVIE FILES but on the right I seee MUSIC and MUSIC ADD-ONS for additional selections, neither does anything fo rme, still shows MOVIE FILES (not I have no movies on the server at present only music and pictures).  Non of the item lists ever populate either.  Server address is correct and in the driver settings. not able to pull coverart or description info either.  On the home screen of the XMBC server it shows the coverart and other info.  Running 12.2.  All nav controls work.

Can you send me debug logs of this happening? I'm unable to reproduce this here against frodo 12.3.

Any luck on getting a driver for the Philips Hue Lighting?

This project has been abandoned as RTI released their own driver for the HUE.

A private beta version of this driver is now available (send me an email to request a copy).

It currently supports the Switch, Monitor and Light Switch models.

If it proves popular i'll add support for the Baby monitor as well.

There is still a problem. Cover Art and Fan Art aren't displayed. Not on the T3-V+ not on the Virtual Panel. I tried many options.

Please send me some traceviewer logs of you playing something with coverart.
As you can see in the screenshot above coverart was working fine for me.

When the item is playing, is coverart visible directly on the XBMC tv?

I can't reproduce the problem here on my iPad mini.

What version of XBMC and the driver are you using?

There is a problem with display of the Russian characters. Names of movies and songs.

Please email me (or send me a link) a song (something small in size) that has this issue.
If you could also provide a screen shot from any program showing what the characters should look like, I should be able to fix it.

Problem with names of movies and with names the Internet of radio stations. (Russian characters)

It seems that the DF protocol is sending back the bad characters.  When I query the server for a list of tracks, the one you provided above is returned as "?-??", see below:

As DF are no longer in business I can't even contact them to see if there's anything I can do.

It is possible to solve a problem with display of the Russian characters?

If you can send me an mp3 that has the problem, then yes I should be able to fix it.

As for adding new functionality... it's not likely as DF Solutions no longer sell the hardware.

ID9 just released, with the recommendation that the latest XP firmware is required to make the most of all the new features....

Just working on a job with a fair bit of Sonos, so is my best bet not to use ID9 (just yet) ??

It's possible, but currently I don't have access to a PCH box that supports NMJ2.  I only have a PCH-200.
