47  RTI Drivers / Released Drivers / Re: Sonos Driver on Latest XP-3 Firmware on: November 21, 2012, 07:01:37 PM
Hi Colin,

You are correct, the latest XP firmware breaks the Sonos driver functionality.  Our driver has always (up until now) used an undocumented feature, which RTI have changed in the latest firmware.

Rather than fixing this in the Sonos Basic driver (which would be a LOT of work), I'm pushing ahead with the "pro" version.  This will be a free upgrade to anyone with a current license.

Cheers,
Matt.

Hi all,

Just updated an RTI XP-3 to the latest firmware (1.5) and the Sonos interface, which was working great, stopped receiving feedback, ie. no song info or cover art....

Rolled back to 1.3 and works like a charm again. Have not tried this on any other processor. Is it just me?

Colin

50  RTI Drivers / Released Drivers / Re: Sonos on: September 20, 2012, 10:42:07 AM

Sorry, in an effort to speed things up, i've just ordered another PLAY:3.  Should have it tomorrow, i'll try to reproduce the issue over the weekend.
51  Future Development / Requests / Re: Axis Camera Station on: September 12, 2012, 09:57:00 AM
I also applied to the application development program and got a personalised response from my sales rep, which mentioned their online API, VAPIX and gave links to the windows activex components Axis Media control SDK and other support links.
Do you need access to the embedded API?
Is that the same stuff you got?

I haven't got that far yet.  Got the local rep emailing me saying he's waiting for the mother ship to send me an NDA.

No idea what i need access to yet until i see it Smiley
52  Future Development / Requests / Re: Axis Camera Station on: September 12, 2012, 08:39:08 AM
Have you had any response yet?

Got to stage 2, which involves submitting a bunch of paperwork.  Then i have to sign an NDA and see what happens.  I doubt this is something that's going to happen quickly.

Please understand that if the NDA is too restrictive (ie. stops me from doing my job) this is something i'll have to pass on.

54  RTI Drivers / Development / CasaTunes on: September 06, 2012, 09:51:26 AM
I've started work on an IP driver for CasaTunes.

Basic control is working...
55  Future Development / Requests / Re: Axis Camera Station on: September 05, 2012, 08:41:29 PM
It might be possible, but from what i've just read you need access to the ACS SDK.  I've applied, but the guidelines seem to indicate this is more for people with a large customer base and a compatible product (ie. a camera).

I guess we will see.
56  RTI Drivers / Released Drivers / Re: Cisco Phone Services on: August 31, 2012, 06:07:12 PM
Can this driver work with Cisco IP Phones with SIP Firmware (i.e. 7940, etc)

Good question... I suspect not, as it's the Cisco firmware that adds the functionality.  I run the skinny protocol here so I'm not sure.
57  Future Development / Requests / Re: WMC over IP on: August 31, 2012, 06:05:51 PM
What about creating a Windows Media Centre Driver that maps the standard media centre keys and send the to Media Centre via IP.

We already have a WMC driver in beta.

Hey MAtt.  gave it a go... but still playing up....  to be honest I haven't checked if I am running latest XP8 firmware but will this make a difference?

Lights still have issues ramping...

Ok, turns out I missed one important change.  Fixed in 1.04 available from the website.

I've just posted version 1.03 of the C-Bus driver on our website.

I merged the changes from C-Bus Pro to the free one, which should fix the issue you are seeing.

Cheers,
Matt.
